Beet syrup consists of beet juice in concentrated amounts that make it acquire molasses properties. The end result is a syrup without secondary additives since beets contain sugar. This syrup with the naked eye can be seen to be like a kind of black honey. The flavor of this syrup is similar to that of honey but has characteristic bitter touches. It is a very soft sweet. This syrup is quite multipurpose, it can be used as if it were an ordinary jam and spread it on toast, as well as adding it to sauces to give them a sweet flavor, to desserts, on top of pancakes and toast.
