  The Açaípalme is native to Central and South America and grows especially in swampy areas. The acai berries are dark purple in color and resemble grapes. The acai berry has a pleasant taste that is reminiscent of the taste of blueberries, nuts and chocolate. The berries have large seeds and a puree is made from the little pulp. Açaí puree has been used for years by the local population for its beneficial properties. Biotona Bio Açaí is a tasty addition to a healthy and balanced diet.
