  Sea buckthorn grows wild in sandy and salty soils in Central Asia and Northern and Western Europe. It always grows in open locations in full sunlight. In August / September, the sea buckthorn bears bright orange, sour-tasting “false” berries, which have been used for centuries for their health-promoting effects. Sea buckthorn contains oil in both its seeds and flesh. Sea buckthorn supports natural resistance and helps maintain healthy skin.
