Vegetable Enzymes 1,662 mg 60 capsules

  • What do enzymes do?

Did you know that good health starts with properly functioning digestion and that good digestion relies on the right enzymes, in the right amounts, in the right place at the right time? Does that sound complex? It is, and it is another example of how intelligent our bodies really are.

    Metabolic processes require enzymes
As we get older, different types of pollution, chemicals, toxins, stress, and emotional problems increase the burden on our bodies. All of this diminishes our body's natural ability to make enough enzymes to meet daily needs.

Our body needs enzymes to function properly. We need them not only for healthy digestion, but for all metabolic processes. We would not be able to live without enzymes.

    Enzymes support digestion
Enzymes help the body digest food and absorb nutrients from proteins, carbohydrates, fats and plant fibers. Furthermore, enzymes are involved in all chemical reactions that take place in our body. These include, for example, the regeneration of cells or tissues and the removal of waste materials and toxins, as well as the support of the immune system. In short, enzymes get the whole organism going!

Dr. Edward Howell, pioneer of enzyme therapy, describes it like this:

Enzymes are substances that make life possible. They are required for all chemical reactions that take place in the human body. Nothing would happen without enzymes. Neither vitamins, minerals nor hormones can do any work without enzymes.
This view is also supported by Dr. D.A. Lopez, Dr. R.M. Williams, M.D., PhD and M. Miehlke, M.D. who say that

Enzymes are the driving force of our body that perform every single function that is necessary for our daily activities and that are necessary to keep us alive. They are responsible for all functions of every single organ system in our body. In addition to our immune and defense systems, we need enzymes not only to absorb, digest and absorb nutrients, but also to see, hear, smell, taste, breathe and move.

Do we have an unlimited supply of enzymes?
No we have not. For a long time it was believed that the digestive enzymes would be permanently available to our bodies and would be sufficient for a whole life.

However, it is now known that we also lose digestive enzymes through sweat, physical waste and through the natural aging process of our digestive enzyme-producing organs.

    Accelerated aging reduces enzyme production
Our modern, fast-paced society, which mainly deals with convenience, now has to deal with the consequences of eating heavily loaded foods, ready meals and microwave cooking. This diet causes a lot of free radical damage to our bodies, which is also known as a process of accelerated aging. This process, which is caused by the free radicals, reduces the body's natural ability to produce enzymes and thus affects all vital processes in the body.
