Organic turmeric 500 gr.

  • Indian cuisine uses dried turmeric for almost every type of food, so turmeric is present in all curry mixes and provides the yellow color. The whole root is especially used in Thai cuisine, freshly grated, especially for fish curries. You can grate, mortar or chop the root like ginger and add it to the dishes. The fresh rhizome smells aromatic and tastes bitter, resinous and slightly burning.
     
    Tip:
    The fresh root can be frozen easily. The root can then be mortared or rubbed best when it is still frozen.
