Nettle ECO Powder 150 g Salud Viva

  • In terms of taste, the nettle is reminiscent of spinach. Nettle can be eaten raw or dried. The dried leaves of the nettle can then be finely ground into a powder. This powder is suitable, for example, for a nettle tea or as a spice powder. The substances contained in nettle tea can stimulate your kidneys to flush out, which makes nettle tea a natural drainage and purification agent. The diuretic effect promotes the flushing of toxins from the body - almost a completely natural detox program. In addition, the nettle is also considered an energy donor and thanks to the glucokinins it contains, it can act as a natural blood pressure reducer. But that's not all, the dried plant can also have an antibacterial effect. This means that the active ingredient contained in the leaves inhibits the growth of bacteria and can thus ensure a stable immune system when consumed.

How can you use nettle powder?
The powder form allows you to make the nettle powder versatile and easy to use. In addition to nettle tea, the powder can be used, for example, to refine quark or cream cheese dips, or use it as a salad herb. A spoonful of nettle powder in your muesli is also a conceivable variant. It is also an excellent source of protein for your homemade smoothies. A tablespoon of the powder in the smoothie gives it a subtle nettle note and provides you with important nutrients. In addition to using the powder in the kitchen, you can also use the nettle powder to wash your hair. A little powder in your shampoo can prevent hair loss and stimulate blood flow to the scalp.

Why should you consume nettle powder?
Nettle powder has a very high protein content and is therefore also very popular with athletes, as protein promotes muscle building. The protein makes up around 30 percent of the nettle. The composition of the numerous amino acids found in nettles can also have a positive effect on optimal metabolism. The nettle plant also has a high content of magnesium, calcium and vitamin C. In addition, 100 grams of nettle powder contain more iron than, for example, the same amount of spinach, which is often said to have a high iron content. Iron can reduce tiredness and fatigue, it can have a blood-forming effect and also promote your ability to concentrate. The high vitamin C content, in turn, helps your body to absorb and metabolize the iron it has absorbed. The calcium contained in the nettle, which amounts to around 190 mg per 100 grams, benefits your bones and teeth as well as your immune system. The absorption of calcium is supported by the vitamin D.
