  Aloe vera vegetable oil is a maceration oil of the flowers of the aloe barbadensis in a base oil containing almonds, olives and sunflowers. Aloe Vera has excellent properties for skin care and has been used since ancient times for cosmetic and healing purposes. Numerous studies confirm its healing properties as it reduces the inflammatory phase due to fibroblast growth and tissue re-epithelialization.

   

  These effects can be extended to other injuries caused by burns or radiation. Likewise, its anti-inflammatory effect was studied to explain its healing effect on wounds, burns and ulcers. Aloe glycoproteins and their phenolic compounds inhibit metalloproteases and reduce the oxidative and aggressive effects that they would exert on the extracellular matrix of inflammatory tissue. This property makes it an ideal active ingredient for the treatment of sensitive and irritated skin. It is ideal for treatment after sun exposure as an after-sun remedy.
