  Cordyceps is a rare, wild mushroom that grows in the mountainous regions of China, Tibet and Nepal. In combination with Reishi - "the queen of mushrooms" (Ganoderma lucidum) and well-known plants, an extraordinary mixture is created. The name of the Cordyceps mushroom comes from the Latin expressions "cord" - rope and "porcini" - head. The name Latin precisely reflects the appearance of this mushroom: its body grows from a mummified larva of the Himalayan night butterfly Thitarodes Armouricanus (or Hepialus Armoricanus). However, there are more than 500 species of this mushroom, the most famous and at the same time the rarest time is Cordyceps (Cordyceps sinensis). It grows high on the slopes of the Himalayas and is therefore very difficult to find. Because of its rarity, it is one of the most popular mushrooms. The Cordyceps (Cordyceps) sinensis) contains polysaccharides (glucans), fiber and other components.

   

  Cordycepin kills cancer cells

  In order to be able to use the healing power of mushrooms more specifically against tumors, scientists are currently trying to isolate the active ingredients of the mushrooms. They mainly rely on the mushrooms Reishi, Fu Ling and Cordyceps sinensis. In particular, the active ingredient cordycepin from the Chinese caterpillar fungus Cordyceps sinensis can kill tumor cells, at least in the test tube. There, cordycepin works particularly well on leukemia, breast cancer and prostate cancer cells by destroying their cell skeleton. The isolated active ingredients are not yet available. The healing power of the mushrooms needs to be researched further. This also applies to the fundamental question of whether the results from the cell cultures can be transferred to humans.

  1 capsule contains 320 mg CORDYCEPS Active Blend [powder made from all parts of the dried Cordyceps sinensis mushroom (Cordyceps sinensis) - 200 mg, polar rose extract (Rhodiola rosea) - 50 mg Reishi mushroom powder (Ganoderma) lucidum) completely lyophilized - 50 mg, extract from Leuzea carthamoides (Rhaponticum carthamoides) - 20 mg], including 75 mg beta-glucans.
