  Lycopene, alpha-carotene and beta-carotene work together as highly potent antioxidants that can scavenge and destroy free radicals, boost the body's defenses and protect against various diseases. They can even be shown to reduce the risk of cancer.

   

  Pharmacological action of lycopene:
