  Glutathione 200 & C is a food supplement based on reduced glutathione and vitamin C included for its synergistic action to promote the synthesis and regeneration of glutathione. Glutathione is a tripeptide composed of the endogenously produced amino acids L-cysteine, L-glutamic acid and glycine, but various situations can cause a deficiency of this tripeptide. Each capsule contains 200 mg glutathione and 50 mg vitamin C.

   

  Glutathione is required at many stages of the immune response. High levels of glutathione therefore allow the body to produce more white blood cells, which are the immune system's first line of defense. Glutathione is therefore essential for the proliferation of lymphocytes, which are necessary for the development of a strong immune response and so that the killer lymphocytes (NK) can destroy unwanted cells.

   

   

  Glutathione is particularly concentrated in the liver, the human detoxification organ. Glutathione renders the reactive oxygen species harmless and thus counteracts cell damage. In addition, glutathione controls the white blood cells and thus strengthens the immune system.
