  Boron is a trace mineral that can be taken as a dietary supplement in the form of borax. Boron promotes bone formation, relieves osteoarthritis and arthritis, increases testosterone levels and seems to make vitamin D work better.

  Boron is an essential nutrient for plants. They need it for cell wall structure, just like animals need it for growth. In humans, however, a necessary supply of the trace element has not yet been scientifically proven, although boron undoubtedly has a high nutritional value.
