  Despattic Black is a liver cleanser based on Desmodium, Artichoke and Milk Thistle, now also enriched with Black Radish and Choline, which significantly improves the formula.

   

  The liver is a fundamental organ for the proper functioning of our body. It performs cleansing, digestive and metabolic functions such as:

   

  blood clotting.

  Metabolism of amino acids, proteins, carbohydrates and lipids.

  It is also a storehouse of vitamins and minerals.

  It is able to enzymatically convert toxins and waste products from our body in order to later eliminate them. And it is involved in the digestion of food, aiding in the digestion of fats through the synthesis of bile.

   

  Main active ingredients of Despatic Black:

   

  Black radish with purifying and digestive properties. Increases expression of enzymes involved in liver detoxification. It also stimulates bile synthesis and facilitates its excretion into the duodenum. It exerts hepatoprotective properties, both because it has an antioxidant effect (because of its polyphenol content, among other things) and because it can increase the liver's detoxification capacity. Black radish has also been observed to lower cholesterol and help prevent hepatic steatosis, or fatty liver.

  Desmodium has a regenerative effect on hepatocytes thanks to its antioxidant effect and its content of the active ingredient D-pinit. Even at low doses, desmodium has been shown to protect against oxidative stress, not only in liver cells but also in kidney cells.

   

  *Milk thistle with antihepatotoxic effects clearly plays a role as a liver protector, both in secondary drug toxicity and in hepatobiliary diseases. According to some authors, silymarin can also help lower both plasma and liver cholesterol levels, thus being of great help in preventing fatty liver and gallstones.

   

  *Artichoke has antioxidant and hepatoprotective effects, due in part to the free radical scavenging effects of its polyphenol derivatives, which act as antioxidants.

   

  *Choline contributes to the maintenance of normal liver function. A deficiency of choline in humans is associated with impaired liver function, cirrhosis and hepatic steatosis (fatty liver). A lack of choline in the diet leads to fatty infiltration of the liver and damage to liver cells.
