  The crossbreed of Bachminze and Wildminze, discovered only in 1696 and presumably by accident, is today one of the best-known plants in the world. Peppermint is extremely popular worldwide for its refreshing aroma and has a light, pleasant sharpness.

  To date, it is not clear exactly where the lemon, which belongs to the family of the rhododendron, actually comes from. Its origins are believed to be in northern India, but due to its refreshing-sour taste, it has been around the world for millennia.
