  Alfalfa is a very nutrient-rich legume, it has an ancient herbal tradition. The Arabs called it al - fal - fa, which means “father of all foods”, since they observed that through their consumption the animals significantly increased their vigor and work capacity, since their roots penetrate very deeply, so they extract a large number of minerals and nutrients in the soil, thus providing a high level of protein, carbohydrates and fiber.
