    The Karela, known as bitter melon or bitter gourd, offers a range of medicinal benefits and is an important herb in Ayurvedic medicine. Recent medical studies have shown that Karela contains "herbal insulin", which helps lower blood sugar levels. The juice of the plant is used in the treatment of alcohol-induced hepatotoxicity. The bitter karela is a tropical plant that grows mainly in some Asian and African countries.
     
    Active components:
     
    The fruit and karela seeds containing a polypeptide are called p-insulin, which is structurally and pharmacologically similar to bovine insulin. It is also rich in vitamins A and C, beta-carotene and minerals like phosphorus, iron and potassium.
     
    Main features of Karela:
     
    Antidiabetics: Karela helps to maintain normal blood sugar levels and reduces hyperglycemia, glycated hemoglobin (Hb A1C) of total cholesterol and free fatty acids.
     
    Karela also has antioxidant properties that help in reducing the risk of diabetes complications by eliminating free radicals.
     
    Hepatoprotector: The fruit extract contributes to the fact that the active enzyme glutathione S-transferase, glutathione peroxidase and catalase in the liver are significantly increased, which prevents liver toxicity.
     
    Lipid: Reduce the secretion of apolipoprotein B and apolipoprotein C-III in the liver, known as "bad" cholesterol (LDL). The fruits and seeds of Karela lower the total cholesterol and triglyceride levels in your organism.
     
     Recommended Use: Take 1 capsule 2 times a day with meals.
