  Manuka Honey

  Manuka Honey is a single flower honey harvested from the Manuka bush (Leptospermum Polygalifollum). Whilst traditionally thought of as a native to New Zealand, the Manuka bush is also native to Australia. Australian Manuka is found in the pristine bushland where we hand harvest our Manuka honey.

   

  Manuka Honey is one of natures most prized gifts and is loved for its unique properties that support immunity and general health and wellbeing.

  Manuka Honey contains a high concentration of Methylglyoxal (MGO) a natural substance that gives the honey it's active properties. Only honey with an MGO score of 100 or higher can be called “bioactive” which is why Real Health Manuka Honey only uses this superior and internationally recognized methodology. Our range of honey starts at MGO 100 up to MGO 830. The higher the MGO levels the greater the activity levels of the honey.
